Pirl, I have no idea why it is so super there because the other 4 plants didn't do well and most are gone. That spot gets sun all day and the soil is clay.

Last year I did move some pieces to sun but they still aren't exciting. Fen's Ruby euphorbia is splendid and has spread very well.

Pirl, Euphorbias are finicky here. Bonfire is the only one that really performs.

Hi Jan. Pretty cool thread isn't it Great color echoes in the photos you posted.

I now have lots and lots of time to work in my gardens since I retired in February. I am doing a lot of spiffing up and rearranging plants, keeping the color echo idea in mind as I go along.

Here is a bouquet that I picked yesterday. The tall white Iris is a double re-blooming fragrant NOID Iris. The dark purple is a NOID fragrant dwarf. And I have the names of the two-tone front Iris and the Columbine somewhere but can't put my fingers on them at the moment.

Dwarf iris Cafe Mocha and Penstemon leaves.
