Etelka, that's really pretty. A progression from light to dark, and the blending of the colors through placement of the plants - really nice. I love it.

The clematis is the perfect touch to a lovely display, Etelka.

They've been planted beside each other for years, and I just noticed the hint of purple in the iris, that echoed nicely with CF.

When I saw your photo I wondered how often people think, or say, "Gee, they really go well together. Did she ever notice that?".

The people that I know would never have recognized the color echo. They walk into the back garden, say how pretty, and keep moving on to the next plant.

I'm sure it's the same here with only a few exceptions. One glance is enough for most who are not gardeners.

We have it here as well. It filled two entire compost bins. Jack got rid of it in one bin so I'll tackle the other one. Also on my job list is to kill a lot of Gooseneck Loosestrife that has run amok.
