Okay, heads up everyone.
There is a very big Spring Garden Fair in Canby the weekend of the Clinic. All the places we wanted to go to on Friday will be setting up for the weekend sale. That means they will not be at their nurseries, the nurseries will be closed for the weekend.

So, I was thinking we could all go on Sunday to the Spring Garden Fair (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). The vendor list is gigantic. http://www.cmastergardeners.or...
http://clackamascountymasterga...

You could all come here on Friday, then on to Cynda's nursery after 3:00 p.m. sometime. I could set up a nice serve yourself lunch, eat as you get hungry?
Browse the raised beds, sit and visit?

Saturday the clinic and dinner at Robert's Crossing.

Sunday the Spring Garden Fair in Canby?

What do you all think?

Sounds like that would be great! Hit them all at one time. Not the same as going to the nursery but a very close 2nd.

Another possibility for Friday would be Sebright Gardens. They have thousands of hosta and the standard dwarf irises should be at peak bloom. They have 10K of them!

I would be happy to lead that tour.

I second that idea. If it is raining they have that little covered area plus the hostas are in a hoop house. They also sell other shade plants like heucheras but I don't know if they will be in stock then. They were when I manned a volkswalk checkpoint there at the end of May a couple of years ago. They even had a couple of flats of mixed named semps for sale. The grounds around the house are spectacular and beg to be photographed.

I see they will be at the Canby plant sale. They are close by in Brooks. That might be a lot of fun.
Anybody up for Seabright Gardens. I've never been to their nursery. Will they be available of Friday, or will they be up in Canby setting up for the sale?

No traffic down this way. Only about 20 minutes or so from PO.

The biggest thing happening at the Brooks exit, which is where Sebright is located is a truck stop. Nothing resembling traffic there!

Of course they only bring a fraction of what they have to the plant sale. The irises cover 5 acres or more. Display beds around the house are awesome.

The website has all information for 2013... Are we sure those dates are for 2014?

Just wondering because the sales her are usually Friday & Saturday. Smiling

OMG, I go away for 3 days and there's a switcheroo... Crying
I am flexible except for anything that changes the chance for me to physically be standing near Lynn's raised beds of semps. I would even consider having an empty stomach and wearing a miner's hat w/lite on one of the nights if that's what it takes to be able to look at her collection. The Spring Fair and PO and clinic and dinner is next priority for me and Seabright Nursery is last priority.
And lastly, did I mention that I am looking forward to Lynn's collection? *Blush*
