I just have the purple queen purple Iochroma have had it for three years now, gets very tall and unruly if not in a container. Love the blue one, but am holding off on buying new plants for awhile. I have to get what I have in order first LOL.

Debra, I wasn't sure they would be hardy in ground so I keep mine in a container. They are really nice, I'm not too fond of the smell of the leaves and plant in general. Kinda smells like something weird when you touch it or the wind is blowing it as you are close to it. Are they all like that? It's not real bad ,just not great smelling. You know like when you touch a marigold, it has a marigold smell without the blooms, these do too, have a unique smell without blooms.

Just saw this thread and Jan I simply must get a cutting of your Lochroma Australis when it is big enough! Cora same for your Inidgo!!! I love those colors!!!

Let me know when you can (assuming here you'd even want to). My brugs were all new cuttings this spring so nothing is ready to be trimmed but by fall there should be some cuttings for trades.

btw I was given Peaches and Cream. I noticed the other day that the leaves are varigated. Is this normal for P and C ?

Thanks!

Cora sorry to hear that. It was a lovely plant. Forgive my ignorance but what is a Snowbank plant? Being from the north I've never heard of it before.

Linda thank you! Glad to hear that is normal and not a sign it's got some disease! I like the effect just wasn't sure that was a sign of a healthy plant! Hilarious!
