Wow, Sandi, you have some beauties! I really like Hot Lava (and the name too!)

That last one looks familiar, but can't put my finger on what I think it might be. It is gorgeous!

I love all these oranges! I, too, was not a big fan of orange, but all these stunning photos have given me reason to reconsider!

Sandy - I, too, love Hot Lava! What a knock-out bloom! Lovey dubby

I think T. Tigress might be what I was trying to think of too. My daughter has it and I just got a start of it so don't have any pictures of it myself.

I am a red lover. Red red red. Yet when I first got into daylilies not so long ago, the most expensive daylily I purchased that year was Primal Scream - an orange! I worried all winter if it would survive in my garden. It did, and has been phenomenal. Since then I have added more orange, with Indian Ripple and Hot Lava being some of my favorites. Just love them. ~Jan

These are some I no longer have; I donated them to the club after I moved. These are very nice garden flowers

Nice ones Michele. I like the ruffling and edge on Lillian's Clockwork Orange and that Buddy's Betsy just says "look at me!"

I got T. Tigress from my daughter last year so I hope to see it in bloom this year. Here's hoping Big Grin

I have always wanted PRIMAL SCREAM. But it is a dormant. Does anyone know if it will grow in the subtropics? Possibly Florida south or equivalent?

Orange to red is my favourite part of the spectrum. Of oranges, I am always cautious though - that they are not what they are painted to be once they are in my beds.

OLD TANGIERS. A radiant stunner. Attracts attention across a crowded floor. BOOM.

GLORIOUS AUTUMN. Strong but gossamer like. It has a 'gladi' feel. Excellent form and hue just for you.

HOT EMBER. Vickie's HE blooms always look better than mine. Crying

Sibling of previous too. Weird and scary. Always looks like a wax copy of some other daylily.

NOID. A bit of a surprise from an old, nearby, haunted house.

TINY PUMPKIN. I never know where to put minis. This one is with similar coloured veggies.

Glen, I have had a couple of HE blooms that looked like that on a very hot summer day. As always, Glorious Autumn is awesome! And I just love that NOID, I think its form is perfect.

I am so enjoying these oranges. I guess because the color is associated with ditch lilies hybridizers haven't gone as full blast on the orange color as some other colors. I think it's time for some more deep orange colorfast/sunfast screamers to come out on the market. I've added a couple (or more) to my wish list from all the beauties posted here and am always on the look out for more. Here's another orange I found in my collection: Don Juan..........Maryl

Glen, your poly EJ is a dormant and it is doing well in your garden. It is worth the chance on PS to see what happen. It has come down in price recently.
