Not a drop of snow here! But eastern MA got a bunch. I have the day off because I decided to go to work yesterday instead just in case they had to cancel the school I work at for snow or windchill. Sunny so I'll be taking pics....
Beautiful shots. Do you have a name for the Cym. fifth down. Looks a lot like a NOID I have
Sekkoku Dendrobium moniliforme is in bloom again. Interesting. Last Sept., the blooms were all a pure white with a few purple "lines" deep in the back of the throat. Now all are the same white, except for the bloom on one particular stalk, and the bud on that stalk. Purple tinge on the flower as you can see and the bud is a greenish purple whereas all the white only blooms had yellow-ish buds
That is odd! 2 different plants? I've been very attracted to Den. moniliformes lately..
I'm not sure which cym pic you mean but if you hover your cursor or click to enlarge the photo, the name will show including if it's a NOID.
Maybe. Here is a pic from last Sept. The cane in question did not have any blooms. But you can see it in the background as the one with a reddish cast,

Oh, great color on the Toshie Aokie 'Pizazz', Bree. I have a small plant of that one that hasn't bloomed yet.
Very cold here last night, but so far I can't see any frost, or damage - fingers crossed! I did cover the little greenhouse units with blankets last night for extra insulation.

Bree, that is gorgeous! I have a regular Toshi Aoki (no pizazz) but it hasn't bloomed for me yet. I haven't had it long, though but I'm looking forward to it now!

Visited Selby Gardens today with some friends, and was excited to see several plants of Den. Yellow Song 'Canary' with showers of blooms. Mine is coming along slowly and now I just can't wait to see it in bloom! It has over 25 buds at last count.
Before that I tried the backlighting technique on my current bloomers. Noid catt, Lc. Renate almost done, little Goldbrad and Gerberara Snow Ballet.

Thanks all Just got lucky with morning light coming in the window behind those flowers. Now I know where to put the winter bloomers when I want to take a picture.
But Bl. Richard Mueller was in the shower at the time, so here he is this morning.
