I'm pretty sure Sydney knows his address in Jax, she was a close friend, just private message her. I know he gave away many of his plants before he passed on.

Hello all! I have a question that I hope you can point me in the right direction for: I am starting an herb garden on my patio but it is an unusual situation. I have an 8.5" x 8.5" pit where the previous owners had an in-ground spa. We have owned our home for 7 years and I am finally trying to use the space. It gets about 6 hours of partial sun (direct sun through a screen) each day. I am starting multiple plants from seed but the place doesn't have enough light for germination, so I am doing it inside. I am very new to all of this research and would appreciate any feedback! My question is:
Does anyone know if you can combine lights to raise the kelvin/lumen rating? i.e. I have a ballast that holds 2 lights, but the highest I could find in a light at my local store was 1800 lumen and 3000k. If I have 2 of those, is it sufficient light for my herb seedlings? Thanks ahead of time!
