haha! that is funny - sorry for misunderstanding! And it's funny Margaret because I was thinking "How does she handle the worrying about his climbs" (I've seen my brother on multipitch climbs where he's just a speck and my heart leaps...so could imagine its worse being a parent!)
Thanks for clarifying. @dirtdorphins sorry to get you all excited!! Chris Sharma's momma has to be someone! Shrug!
Cheers

My son used to climb, thankfully he hasn't done that in quite some time, he is into bicycling these days, road type, not exactly a safe sport either. Crying

I had a bike in the garage for several years here in Seattle because of 2 reasons - scared on the road and living on a hill, no matter which way I go I return to a hill climb...which after a long ride is a challenge!! Finally my brother and his partner - the same rock climbing duo, made me take it out and get on the road...I'm very careful, and still...its crazy out there, on the city roads sometimes not really made for cars and bikes...I allow the cars to go first almost all the time! Thumbs up And it is so fun flying down these steep hills!! (I wear a helmet and bright colors, so easily seen!) Rolling on the floor laughing

Greg, I'm sure glad you wear a helmet and the bright colors. Thumbs up My son does a lot of long rides, like the one from Portland to Seattle non stop, they do have toilet and food breaks. He also did the Vancouver, BC to Whistler a few times, a few years ago he did the Century ride in Hawaii with Team in Training to raise money for blood cancer research, then he coached the team for a couple of years. Lovey dubby

I've ridden the RSVP (ride from Seattle to Vancouver) several years now! Once you get on the bike you just keep going...and going...and going...oh yeah, and then you have to get up the next morning and begin again Rolling on the floor laughing
Its beautiful country to ride through though!! Thumbs up
