Hi, my name is Jean, formerly known as JeanK. I live in FL part time and AR part time. We have been retired for 15 years and find that we are kept busy with two yards to maintain, along with our other hobbies of photography, computers, traveling and genealogy. We also collect antiques -- DH Aladdin lamps, and salt dips for me, but that has been put on the back burner as we are running out of space! Our 5 children are scattered from the Atlantic (Georgia) to the Pacific (California), along with our 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Being raised in the South, and having been away for 35 years, we have azaleas and camellias and lots of those flowers Southerners grow and take for granted. I grow orchids, epiphyllums, agapanthus, daylilies, and various other plants.

I did, and we changed seats so that I could take a turn driving, when I saw this lady walking a dog - I did wonder is that my friend Rene from cubits?????

Hi...Laura here; I'm 53, transplanted from the west to Citra with 7 dogs and 2 cats. Gardening (and life in general!) is so different here and I'm loving it!
