I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

Hi Ann!!

I already thanked Sherri on my other (inappropriately placed probably post) so, I'll leave her just a "Hiiiii!!!"

Fair warning, Ann. I'm annoying when I have questions.

Just sayin'...!!

I know LOTS about cold hardy plants. A fair amount about tropical exotic stuff too... the things I had to keep in post and PRAY they'd survive!!

Palms??!!!

Um.

NO.

Sighing!

And I just realized I can't grow my Peonies down here.

:sigh:

Excuse me for a minute...
Moving from New York to the Treasure Coast leaves me feeling like a newbie in the Garden. Nevermind that I've been at it for 35 years! :P

I grew up in Jupiter & lived in Hobe Sound for. 23 years before moving to north FL. I'll help as I can but have limited time so replies may not be quick.
You CAN grow daylilys there & don't let anyone tell you you can't. If they do, they have no idea what they're talking about. I had master gardeners tell me daylilys would absolutely NOT grow there. Pish tosh!

Hey, this is from when we lived in Hobe Sound. It will help you a lot with what will grow there and thrive!
