This is such a great thread! When I looked at my own plants, I realized it's a real missing item. Most of my edges are dark... here's what I did find

This was sold to me by Wild's as Snaggletooth... it's not registered though

You've got a good start there, Zoia! There are lots of pictures of 'Snaggle Tooth' in the database here. I think yours is spot on.

I was reading down through and going to suggest separating "Snaggle" and "Tooth". Good catch Vickie Thumbs up
Snaggle Tooth grew here for a number of years and did really well. The edge wasn't always there but it handled our winters ok. A long time friend is a dental hygienist and spotted it one day while walking the garden....after a few dental stories and some good laughs I gave it to her. Smiling

Char, you are a good friend! And Vickie, I don't know why it didn't occur to me to break the name into two parts. I've had issues like that before too, with apostrophes and hyphens. About the only advantage of the official site ( ADS) is that their search bar will make suggestions. Well, I guess I can post my Snaggletooth Tooth officially now! Green Grin! Hurray! Thank You!

Char, that is a perfect gift for your friend, the dental hygienist, lol!

I'm gonna toss Key to my Heart out there. It DID have days with a thinner, pinkish-white edge, but more often it was a thick, pale pink edge like in June 25:

Then there was June 17, when it looked like a pale pink flower with a red eye zone. I LOVE that the edge is so variable, but I bet that might drive some folks over the edge.

I ordered a DF of KtMH over the winter. The grower said he only had 2 fans left and didn't want to sell both. He offered me one fan for half price. I paid $4 for it!

Can't beat that with a stick! I hope it multiplies fast for you.

Key to My Heart is a kid of Whooperee x Avante Garde. While KTMH looks more like Avante Garde, Whooperee will get white edges on a hot summer day.

This picture was taken 6/3/12, the year I remember a bad drought in southern Indiana and we actually watered our daylilies that year!

That's gorgeous, Vickie! Kind of what I was expecting from KtMH. I need to try Roses in Snow. I know I have one or two other white-edged reds out there, but my acquisition records got away from me, and I can't rightly say what they are lol.

I am living for Thanksgiving Break at this point...the extra time will help me update my records -- and my NGA plant list.

Thanks, Ken. It is actually more red that that picture. And I just moved the clump because it is now about half of what it is in that picture. I was afraid it would dwindle away!
