These MG's sure hate the heat. Short lived blooms right now.
too bad, Marie, that it's not cooler in the summer! Hilarious!

Alan I have had some yellow ones blooming on and off for about a month now. i only have like 3-4 of them planted in different areas. I was kind of surprised that they were all starting to bloom so much with no rain.

What are those yellow daisy looking flowers Marie? They're cute.

Boo - my MGs are crying right now too... Sad They are in pots so I have them under the garden shade, otherwise they'd be toast in my yard.

I've had a few rain lily blooms - all pink. I know I have other colors planted, but will have to wait for the monsoon to see them it looks like.

Whew! It's hot out there today.

Crying

I moved a lot to the patio this morning and cut off stems of purslane to let it spread out all over the back of the garden where I haven't done anything yet.

Look at the size of this Samba rose Purslane! Bigger than a silver dollar.

Pretty! Are they like ice plants? You just stick a piece in the dirt and they root?

I purchased this Calibrachoa in April and it is still going strong, even in the sun. I have a hanging plant too. The purple Calibrachoa that I bought wasn't as hardy as the yellow.

The Verbena, as always, does great even in hanging baskets. This get watered twice a day right now in the summer...one when the temps are under 100.
