All last years semps that made it thru the winter are coloring up nicely.

I lost almost all of my more tender type succulents after this very strange winter weather this year. All those containers that have to be filled again. Some of the plants I've had for 4 or 5 years. So disappointing. Marilyn helped me clean most of the mess up on the deck, lots of little dead plant bodies.

Don't feel bad... I've been cleaning out the dead bodies for the past two days. Fortunately I took cuttings of my Aptenia because that and everything else I left in the greenhouse is DEAD. Where it looks like a little life is left I cleaned them up and replanted... Hey those empty places means it is time to go out and spend spend spend and even try new STUFF!.

Jo Ann your nest looks great!! You could also move some of the chicks that are still attached to the hen over to fill in some of that empty space!! (I tend to be a "mover" rather than letting them fill in on their own!!! )
Chris thank you! I do like how it turned out...and I did use the ugliest yarn that I have, just to try and use it up!!
There was a time when I was open to any and all yarn handouts Had to put a stop to that, as some of them are just not my style! So, I do plan on making more "cozy's" (thanks David for the name!) but I will use nicer yarns

The big spaces are where sedum died or I just took too many cuttings.

This planter is growing in wonderfully.

They all look great. A friend of mine picked up a ribbon at the local flower show with succulent in a sea shell.

Using Chris's term '"Wow", because that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw. your photos Jo Ann. That is amazing how fast that is growing.

Kim, you are VERY good at doing those tiny containers. There isn't a one of them that I wouldn't take home.

My succulent ball planter is still as it is..with tall leggy growth..I decided to keep it as is. My style, the leggy ball planter


But I made three other succulent containers.
This one with a used pastry container:


Then this one, inspired by Greg, my small vertical frame..it is fairly new, so am still waiting for the plants to attach well to the media:


And this other one, just have semps..had to water it a lot these past few days..I was worried it might get fried during our heat wave right now hovering on the 95 to 102F range:
