I toss it under the wisteria and it gets somewhat buried in the leaves, each year I loose a few plants and I replace them. Each year it seems to get better and better. I use to try to plant a few succulents in it that weren't hardy and pull them out in the fall. But I think it is doing better now that I use only hardy semps and sedums in it. I have a bit more cleaning up but I will post a few pictures of it later.

Greg, I love the new "homey style" look to your pot. Is this your way of keeping plants more hardy during the winter by making a "hardy" wardrobe for the pots? It may work...
I hadn't thought of that...hmmm possibly save some of those clay pots during a freeze! Maybe should do a matching set for all my pots?? I think I'd lose friends

Yeah, but they will be replaced by the number of friends that understand and find it cool!
Here is my living wreath, going to need a bit filling in but didn't loose more than 3 semps over winter.

Thanks I have had it for years and I kept trying to include echeveria which I find so very pretty. So I keep pulling them out of the wreath each fall and over wintering them inside where they always end up missed and neglected, in the jungle of house plants. I have several different really cute small sedums that would work to fill in. One of the local nurseries always has some nice 4 in pots just stuffed full of different semps so I will pick up on of those to take the place of the echeveria.

Jo Ann, that will probably be totally filled in 2 or 3 months. It came through winter in good shape. Keep us posted with updated photos. I love that nest.
