CDsSister said:...Bev, Love the new arrangement in that old pot. Nice contrast of the sedum against the dark semps.
What kind is it?
Thanks for giving me the OHHHHH I need to plant. Hilarious! I did buy some new pots a few days ago,
I will try to get some shots soon of the blank canvas. Maybe I will wait till after my Portland trip
to plant them up. Whistling

Marilyn, the sedum that so branchy is either Sedum album 'Athoum' or 'Laconicum'
Are you waiting to pot after Portland because you might be doing some 'plant shopping' there?... Whistling Smiling

You are sooooo right Bev. I just might find a treasure or two to bring home, I hope.

And Lynn they are still in the trunk of my car as they are heavy and my back is kicking up.
If I take them out then they might call me to plant and you know I cannot do that till after Mother's day because of the
weather here. Today 55, snow again tomorrow, then back into the 50s mid week. March is our snowiest month. And
April right behind it. That's my story and I am sticking to it. Hilarious!

Bev: I love the pot you cleaned up at the beginning of this days thread. Its clay?
I am so jealous of all semp gardeners who live where they can use clay pots without winter worries.

Yes, it's clay but not sure if indeed frost resistant. It survived a couple of days of 28 degree weather but at that time I had stopped watering for awhile.

Lynn, Thank you so much. That is too funny, there has been mention of Vintage McCoy pots in another discussion I am in. I would have never thought to look up the pot.

I think the Floraline was started in the early 60's. When I saw Holly's container all my sensors went off. Green Grin!

I saw these on Pinterest and thought they were neat. I was thinking you could possiably make something simiular maybe a bit smaller. Using Hypertufa or plastic pots that you spray painted maybe with a textured paint.

Thanks for the links! Smiling
