If a plant looks good, smells good, don't eat it, grow it!

Wow that is lovely Fiat, don't know what it is but love it!!! It does look to be an aloe, so I'd treat it how you are your other aloes! Thumbs up

It's a very prolific aloe. I'll have to look up the name.

I do not have any new plants to post but was downloading some of the pics I took this summer and this is one of my hardy Optunia Cactus that had not bloomed since I moved it to my new house 4 yrs ago. It is in a lot of shade.

It is so pretty I will move it to the sun next summer. It is below zero out there and I am not in the mood to garden outside in the cold. Soon it will be under a couple feet of snow.

Maybe better placed in the "Blooming Succulents" thread, but this thread currently seems to have more people watching it (I know, there are not many succulents blooming this time of year).

Aloe hybrid 'Grassy Lassie'

As soon as the bloom stalk finished and died on my Aloe hybrid 'Lizard Lips' (I did post a picture of it in bloom on the "Blooming Succulents" thread, I think back near the beginning of October), it's forming another one!

Speaking of happy Aloes, I took an updated picture of an 'Aloe Vera' that I purchased on clearance 10/2/14. About 75% of its roots were rotted and I wasn't sure if it was going to survive after I root trimmed it and repotted it, but here it is today!

Here it is 10/17/14. I suspected it was going to lose three leaves, as they had flopped over, but two have "healed" themselves and are sitting erect again.

Great job Planto. It makes you feel good when you can bring a plant back to life.
