Well, I came in from feeding the horses, and thought I'd have another fix of yellows and oranges. . . .I'm heading into withdrawal now. I guess maybe I will have to sing the ol' Hee Haw song, Glum Dispair and Agony on Me. . .

Don't have any more orange or yellow Iris. Here is an orangeish Japanese Maple leafing out. In fact, the name is Orangeola. This one is particularly satisfying to me when it comes back each year as I got it in remembrance of a local police officer. It is beeee-yew-tee-muss in full foliage.
