Hehe, well I HAD to get the NOIDs into the dirt. They were looking kind of rough. No way I was going to lose one due to my not going out in bad weather. Sticking tongue out

Of course, I'm sure they would've all survived as seen in this very cool Young's experiment:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...
but I was taking no chances... Hilarious!

Not a problem all.
I should have at least a couple more plants (the two Orange Vanilla Popsicle Kniphofia Sticking tongue out ) arriving by Thursday. I really need to start planting...

Oh, and I think I will make one more planting area and then I'm done creating them this year. I'm going to create a bed in a shade area in the backyard for the Ostrich Fern, the Empress Wu Hosta and the Pink China Elephant Ear I've ordered (plus I already have a different EE corm).

But then, seriously I'm done... no, seriously... Rolling on the floor laughing

Oh my gosh I turn my back for a minute and now it's going to be a hat party as well? The only hat I wear is my hard hat for logging activities. But I'm not having hat hair for anyone! Greg, please don't start wearing a toga! Blinking

Hey, if Greg wants to wear a toga, I say go for it! (As long as I'm not around). Rolling on the floor laughing

Went on a little road trip today and made the mistake of stopping at a nursery. Oops! Here are my latest acquisitions...

Jade Rose

Hehe, yeah I am totally aware of my "condition". That "condition" of course being I don't have enough plants. Sticking tongue out
The Jade Rose was really the only impulse buy. I had been looking for Black Mondo Grass for quite a while, and all places I was ordering other things from from were always sold out.

Hey Greg, if you got it, flaunt it! nodding

And just got some more shipping confirmations, so I'll have at least 5 more plants by the weekend. If only it would stop freezing...

JC ~ wish I had known you wanted black mondo grass. I just threw clumps of it away 2 days ago!

For those attending the May shindig...is there an interest in bringing plants to trade or share? I also have campanula clumps to get rid of (not sure of the variety). It's kinda early to dig up iris but some of them may have to go by then too.

Patty, yeah I wish I knew you were throwing some away. Much rather would've paid you for them than a big nursery in a town I never go to. Sticking tongue out
Oh well, hope you all have a good time at the clinic. You might try posting that question under the "Hybridizing Clinic with Kevin Vaughn" thread. I believe there are people who are going who don't read this thread. Smiling

My two Kniphofia Orange Vanilla Popsicles came in today. They aren't much to look at currently, but they should be pretty cool once they start growing and blooming. Smiling
PPAF plants; for some reason I feel more pressure about keeping them alive... Rolling on the floor laughing
