So true. My soil seems to make a slight variation in color, too. I have amended as much as I can but clay is hard to change once things are in. As long as the colors are close, it's okay.

Same here. I don't care much for pinks, so variations in that colorway aren't a problem because I don't buy them. I like blues in all shades, and most purples, so anything that shows up in those flowers is good with me.

Well now -- there's the difference -- I expect every Iris to be exact in it's coloration regardless of the growing conditions. It's like a contract -- if I order a pink Iris, and I plant a pink Iris, I expect a pink Iris to bloom there. Not a peach Iris, not a lavender Iris -- a PINK Iris.

My frustration level is VERY high..................

Mary Ann you were right the picture was from home but I got it direct from Barry, at the time it was only available through him because it was a new intro Kieth does have it this year and it is listed for 40.00 in his catalog and you don't have to pay the import fees getting it from him hopefully that helps Debra He also has By Jeeves listed

Last year was a bad year for us here.. we had a winter that just would NOT let go. Most of these bloomed in June, which is very late. I'm hoping to have a better season this year.
