Arlyn, mine is the day after New Year's. It was usually combined with Christmas or forgotten altogether in the revels aftermath. Sticking tongue out Now that I am old enough(!) to make up my own dates, I make meself a few mini-birthdays throughout the year. Big Grin

Good for you Debra! I have a grand born on new years day and one the day after Christmas. Everyone is so tired they always lump their b'days in with Christmas. Not Granny. Perhaps as they get older I will share your idea with them. lol

When I was younger I was embarrassed by attention so never told anyone when it was my birthday. Now I like to just be anywhere on any day of the year and say 'oh, by the way, today is my birthday'. It can be veeery funny. I am a bad, bad person.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?

One of our favorite little "bistro cafes" has a fella' wander around ,playing the accordion , and singing. One of my favorite things to do, if I see someone I know eating in there, is to call the "singer" over and say.."See that gal (or guy) over there/ it's their birthday today !"....and then sit back and watch the show !! He plays "Happy Birthday", sings, yodels, and If it's a gal, he'll try to get them up to dance...... Sticking tongue out ..Arlyn
