Can you imaging if I took care of it like I should? All 14 would be blooming and I would have lots of increases. I REALLY need to prep them after Spring bloom.

Nice shots! Is that a group of singing squirrels/chipmunks in the background of Fall Line???? Hilarious!

Here is a picture of one of the two "Crump enclosures" I put up on Saturday. One was on a "Sterlingold" rhizome and the other on a possible "Mariposa Autumn" rhizome. The "sterlingold" does not have RE in it. As I made this, I knocked off the top two buds (like when you weed and knock them off in the Spring. I was VERY mad. I still have other buds though.

I did dissect one of the buds and I am sure it is "Colorwatch".

Greg, OK...I have to ask, what is a 'Crump enclosure'? Something to help with the freeze?

Mary Ann - I'm intrigued by Fall Line, but I also like its sister bloom Line Drive although it is not a rebloomer...still I like the Lines on it.

Greg -- meant to say -- I HATE it when that happens. And we've all done it -- the air is very blue in my vicinity when I do that!!! Whistling

J. Griffin (Griff) Crump is a hybridizer in Alexandria Virginia who writes on the AIS blog. He is very neat to talk to and I have visited his garden several times. He wrote an article about protecting re-bloomers in the Fall from frost. I will try and find the article and provide a link. He has neat stuff.

Here is his url for his introductions.

My favorite is "Tessie the Tease". It is a great grower with tons of increases. It looks better in person than any picture can show (and that is saying something since there are a few really good pics of it).

Tessie is gorgeous! And after the dreary days of winter she must look like a bit of sunshine has fallen into the garden.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?

The ones you gave me are still pretty small. Can't wait until they create a beautiful clump like yours! Thumbs up

Here is the other one. It is indeed "Colorwatch". The form is a little off due to the bad weather.
