All I have to look forward to is snow! So keep posting pictures of blooms if you have them!!!

If the Old Farmers Almanac is right this year we will all be having more than our share of snow.

Healthy? All I see are the dead leaves, leaf spot, and weeds............

No activity at all elsewhere in the garden

No weeds,to speak of....but LOTS of leaf spot ! I'm not having the re bloom I had last year(at least so far !) ,but they aren't doing too bad ! Love those beards, Sue !

So nice to see buds and blooms instead of just the rhizomes I have been planting!

That second one opened, found the tag, it's called Tara's Choice. It was a bit chewed by snails so I didn't take a picture, will of the next bloom as we need one for the database.

I noticed this morning while working outside Clarence is blooming, but the blossom is kind-of chewed...so if a nicer one opens I'll post it.

I am on the final stretch of garden that is going to be "re-worked" this year. I was slowed by Bee's and Bermuda Grass. Hope to be done by the 6th of October! ha ha We will see.

Any significance to the deadline?

I noticed that the bees were especially helpful here too while I added the extension to my bed this weekend. But all is planted!!! (famous last words)

The roots are going to have a hard time putting enough down to avoid heaving issues. The later I go, the more this becomes a potential problem.
