OH MY! Gasping here!

Well, all of them really. But those just make me drool.

No blooms yet but this is the first time I have ever seen scapes in my garden this early! Spacecoast Lipstick Kisses and New Every Morning (both new additions last year) have set a new record for me!
Edit: Could these possibly be leftover scapes from last year? Both are listed as midseason and the early ones here haven't even started putting up scapes!
Yesterday, as I was planting 'Mean Joe Green' and other plants just received, I found a scape on 'Emerald Dream'. Folks, this is May 25 in Vermont. Unbelievable! We have had a very mild and warmish Spring. The past 4 days have brought a lot of rainfall. Usually, I don't begin to see blooms on anything until the very end of June. 'Emerald Dream' scape made me gasp!
Could be a prebloom scape. I had some that, thinking back, were likely preblooms as they have not scaped yet and they were blooming by this point last year.
I have abloom open on JOHN KULPA today but it's not the most photogenic. They buds developed while we were having cooler weather so the bloom is lacking the edge. I think the later ones will be nicer. Didn't stop me from putting pollen on it though!

I bet that's really pretty when it gets going Susan.

Michele - I can't imagine waking up to see such blooms on any given morning! What a thrill! You have so many beautiful cultivars! And you take some wonderful photos of each and every one of them! Thanks for treating us all to your daylily collection! Beautiful!
