I think the idea of one on the cool side and one on the warm side is a great idea, and maybe a couple others

I have been behaving myself and acting with very much restraint and so far I have only ordered ONE new rhizome.......trades don't count cause ....well cause its a trade...Right?

Had to buy the ONE as we have a horse with the same name.....

Well, that means that the 22 new ones I got don't count either as i did not buy them (or order them). It is like a one sided trade. I am just helping out a friend. (that is my story and I am sticking to it)

I found a couple blooming in a field yesterday (probably historics) bringing my total to ten new ones or new old ones.

Well, if we are "modifying The rules", and trades don't count....lets say that "rescue iris", being such a "good"deed to do, gives a person a "freebee" order...one iris rescued =one iris you can order, that ISN'T counted against your total !!! How about that ?!...Not that it matters....I'm STILL in the insane group ...Arlyn

Go! Go! Go!!! I have yet to visit a professional grower's garden. Seems like the few in our area are blooming at the same time mine are, and I've got all I can do to keep up with lawn mowing, garden work and photos of my own. I keep intending to -- it never seems to happen.

I might have to go friday or saturday. My wife's mom is coming back home from Wisconsin on the SS Badger boat, which comes in at Ludington. We are picking her up later this afternoon.

OK Mary Ann, turns out to be one rescue. The other I have already. Not a big one. I measured at about 20 inches tall with a flower the size of a silver dollar. Not sure if it's historic. Sorry about the pics...not very good and only one flower at this time.

Just so others may know, Schreiners has a minimum order of $25. I just tried to order a couple and when you get to the section where you pay it tells you that their minimum order is $25 and to please order a few more.

So add them to the list of "enablers".

Yes, but when I ordered two from them, I got Berry Filling free! Are they still doing that?
