I saw a bonus plant listed so I think they are still giving bonuses.

The last two times I ordered from Schreiner's, I received one of their current intro's as a bonus. Both were "small" orders(3-4) plants, and all older iris..Arlyn

I figure i am going to do more trades rather than buyinh. Though, having said that, I do plan on ordering from a firm in Belgium that has one Sterling Innerst cultivar that I can find nowhere else in the world and two others that i can only find one other source. The other source has said they will not send out irises; if I want them I have to go get them. He too is in Europe, so not an option.

Greg,
Does the firm in Belgium have any historics? Maybe could combine an order?
Thanks

Ken -- that's a lovely little NOID -- it might be the same cultivar that was given to me by my neighbors, having been dug from "mama's garden". Won't know for sure until next year!!

Greg,
It has been about 50 years since I did any basic Dutch! Do they ship to US? Any special permits or whatever with importing them? I have found several of interest.
thanks

When I imported from Australia, I got a permit to import. It is free from the dept. of Agriculture, and is good for 3 years.

Schreiner's gives new introductions as bonus iris, one for every $50 ordered (used to be per $40). That is how I got Grateful Red & Dancing Spree, Sunrise Elegy, Slew O' Gold, Coal Seams, Change in The Weather (bonus from summer sale catalog), and they threw in Montmarte as an extra bonus once. Never knew they had a minimum though. Sorry to hear that.

Greg: Since you were just gifted 26 (?) iris, and have many already, I can see why you are being more selective.

If tilling is always the bear it was yesterday I may become more selective or save up for someone to prepare my beds. Whew!

Well I guess I won't be getting a bonus from Schreiners because my order was only $30. Sad

Has anyone ever ordered iris from Jung's??? They have some amazing prices. One I just paid 12.95 for from Schreiners is 4.95 in Jung's catalog.

I just bought some today. The SDB package. Makes them two bucks each and shipping is really reasonable. I have not placed an order with them for years.
