It's only $60. Love that little bit of purple at the end of the beard! It just keeps calling,"Mary Ann, you need me in your garden, you can't live without me, I'm waiting here in California and I''m afraid I'm going to drop into the ocean any time, save me." Crying How can you resist that!

Ditto to what Tom said but I will add that I'm certain that if you order it Joe will probably send you a nice newer bonus. How can you lose? And you will have the added pleasure of making us all jealous.

Alright guys -- get a grip!!! Rolling on the floor laughing Sixty dollars for one rhizome is just too steep for me -- especially after a winter of losing so many................I wouldn't sleep nights worrying that that sixty-dollar rhizome would go the same way.

I promised a picture of my Iris bed under the maple tree -- here it is:

Thanks, Vi. Nothing to see in the circle in the background -- those are Daffy's that are already done blooming, and ready to rest for another year.

Tom I am ready for Oregon 200+ acres of bloom Hurray! and hopefully we catch it at peak like a couple years ago. I'm glad I helped enable you to buy more just wait till I get back from Mid America you will really be in trouble Smiling and I think you both need to send him a order for that one Smiling it really was awesome and was just starting to bloom so I did not get any good stalk pictures of it but the coloring the picture is what it has, the brightest pink I have seen and the plants were nice big thick stalks that one will be a must have.

I bought rare coin and celebratory, along with some others, I didn't notice the bonus special notice in the catalog. I think Emblematic is a Sib to Star Turn, and, Brad, your picture of Emblematic is beautiful. The one in the catalog doesn't show its beauty at all. Looks rather dull in that. I suppose I'm going to be forced to send an amended order in and get Star Turn, and see if I can still take advantage of that bonus special. That will make 3 orders that I have added to already. I'd be better off sendinig them a blank check and telling them to "send them all" Rolling on the floor laughing There's a "slight" chance that the check would bounce though!! Whistling

Well, Brad, and all, My name is Tom, and I'm an iris-aholic! Blinking Confused Rolling my eyes.
I just sent in my " amended order" to Bayview, adding Star Turn. This qualified me for two bonuses, and I selected Emblematic and Heavenly Host. So that gives me 5 of the new intros for the price of 3. How's that for a bargain, and If I know Joe, he might slip in yet another one as a gift. I feel so much better now, I've come clean. Even the clouds have parted and the sun has started to peak through. How's that for an omen?

OK, now Paul, It's your turn. I know how much you like the pink ones. Go for it, you'll find room, and feel so good!

Tom, I couldn't help, while reading your "confession", but think what a strange crowd we "Iris Fans" are. Some like the "new" ,some like the "old", and most like 'em all ! Some like 'em bearded, and some want the "clean shaven kind. We rejoice in the first bloom Hurray! , and lament at the last Crying , all the while planning what we want for the next year's "big show Sticking tongue out ". While we may be different in color, religion, or politics , we all agree on "The Iris" Group hug ! It gives us a reason to be outside in the fresh air and sunshine (and sometimes in the cold and rain ! Confused ), and a reason to "talk" , and become friendly with all sorts of people whom we would never otherwise even know ! it's a Dang shame the whole world doesn't grow iris !! ... I tip my hat to you. .Arlyn

May Ann - did you HAVE to show me your maple tree bed? Now I know for sure I have way too much room left in mine! I had to go order an additional ten iris just to console myself. Hilarious!
