A point, Rob. But don't you think that you have a better opportunity to judge whether you really like one if you see it in person as opposed to viewing it through a two-dimensional flat image? Big Grin

Thank you, Tom, I hope so. Unlike with previous Daylily orders, which were harum-scarum-just-get-'em greed, I want to be thoughtful with the Iris orders. Looking at color, height, bloom time, and rebloom, both individually and in combination. Plus, these Iris are going into pre-planned beds (very different from ALL of the other beds in my yard, which were impulse digs). Excitin' stuff, here!

OK, so like, I have only ordered 53 as of the moment, so that makes me about half as nuts as Arlyn???? Or is it a Quarter as crazy?? I lost track of what Arlyn's numbers are, I'll have to go back and check. So any one else gone crazy today??? Let's hear some confessions. Angel

OK. Right now, on order, 128. But my order is not like your and Arlyn's order. You are just ordering for fun and I really NEED these irises. I have one more order to go out with 8... or 10... or 12 depending how fast it leaves my reach and goes to the vendor. My budget is shot and I am hunting places to put new beds. Yet when I see some of the irises being posted here........I AM MAKING NEW LISTS!!!

I am living outdoors right now sitting in a hammock swing watching the irises when I am not smelling them.... touching them.... or buying more.....

Bonnie, Welcome to the Super Nut Club! Acorn Rolling on the floor laughing Acorn Arlyn said it right, we have a goal of trying to end this economic slump. I think it's been working some for iris vendors. Any others who are working on their goals of getting everything on their wish list? Don't be shy! *Blush* You're among friends. Keep the economy going, buy irises!

I agree with everything that you'all are saying!! Rolling my eyes.

Tom -- *only* 53? Tsk-tsk -- surely you're not going to let Bonnie order more than you.......................? There must be a *few* more that you need?

And Bonnie -- it's bad luck to order in quantites other than groups of 25. Having gone over 125, you pretty much need to jump up to 150 -- and you're SO close.............

OK, Mary Ann, time to fess up! How many have you got ordered? You need to come clean. Are you going to see Star Turn in your garden next year?? Oh come on, you better order it before he runs out. Come to think of it, you should order enough of them to put one next to each of the red noids. Wouldn't that look good, red, pink and purple together between the white peonies??? Oh I can just see it. *Blush*

LOL -- I already *fessed* Tom (just realized that *fess up* is derived from confess -- only took me sixty-some years to figure THAT one out). I'm keeping my orders very conservative this year. I've got a full-time job making space for all the Irises I got last year, continuing the work on the fenceline bed, and repairing Iris Lane.

And -- no, I did not order Star Turn, and I'm not gonna. If I spent sixty dollars on a single Iris, I'd have to make it its own bed in the center of the front lawn, and install electricity for an overhead spotlight so I could look at it 24 hours a day!!! I'm just not up to another project..... Whistling

Besides -- I don't want ANYthing to take away from the beauties that you're going to send to me!!! Lovey dubby

Speaking of the red NOID's -- the peonies are blooming -- so I should have a picture of the entire bed of red and white today!! Hurray!
