How I love Secret Rites. I acquired it a couple of years ago -- planted it in the fenceline bed and something happened to it there (I think it was languishing) so I moved it to the maple tree bed. It survived and looks healthy this year -- but I don't know if it will bloom or not. I have waited for this one for a very long time. I think that one is a very good choice, Debra. I also love Lemon Cloud and English Charm.

Yeah, and I noticed that for someone who "doesn't care much for yellows," four of my choices are what color?

Mary Ann, you can go to the grocery store and spend $60. and take it home in one bag, only to have to go back again and get more. Tell me, would you rather have an iris that you can enjoy for many years, or a bag of groceries that won't last a week. Or you could buy a half tank of gas. When you take your final breath on earth, will you say, Darn, I wish I had spent less time enjoying my irises, or I wish I had gotten one more bag of groceries.

Oh Debra -- I LOVE yellow Irises. To me, they just glow in the garden -- like your avatar. VERY important Iris color, IMHO!!

Tom -- that is truly inspired. My hat's off to you!!! And laughing so hard I spilled coffee!!

Don't spill your coffee, or you'll have to run to the grocery store! Now go mow your lawn and get those pics of the fence row! I'm waiting here. Have to go pick up some veggie plants in a while.

No-no-no-no -- she went to the post office to mail a little gift off to the great niece -- who is 10 months old, and not quite ready to appreciate Irises.

When Brad gets back from his trip to Oregon, I'm sure he'll have loads of pictures that will motivate all of us to order a few more.

I found a supplier for Samba Queen, Now I have to decide what to do, don't want to just order one. HMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Order it and tell them to keep your order open. That way, when Brad returns to tempt us with more gorgeous Irises, you can add to the list!!

Well, the problem is that they don't have many more updated irises then I do, so not much to choose from there. I could just order a couple of the Samba Queen, and have an instant clump, We'll see.
