Regina had been in the sun for several years and always struggled. Moved to filtered shade and is doing much better.

Chris - Great pictures. I really like the Blackberry Currant - that one I've never heard of. Your Geo. Peach looks great too. So that's what Encore looks like.... I'm struggling with three unidentifies - from the deer pulling up the overwintered ones in the pots. I had 3 Encore and 3 Beaujolais and don't know which is which. I thought they were all Beaujolas but now I'm seeing veining. I guess only time will tell. Pino Gris does great for me too, although mine are much more green than yours, but the strangest green I've ever seen - actually kinda cool looking. Once my Limelight Hydgrangea grows up, they will be underplanted and the color should deepen. That Limelight is really taking off so I'm happy. Thumbs up

Chris, beautiful plants and photos. Love your green tags. I've never heard of Blackberry Currant either. It sure is pretty. Funny you should mention bugs eating your Milan. This is the first year I've ever seen serious insect damage to my Heuchs. Not all of them, just a few. It looked like Earwig damage to me.

Regarding those four Heuchs of mine that you mentioned, I'm sure that I posted photos of all of them in PlantFiles. Creme De Menthe is part of the Dolce series, such as Dolce Peach Melba, Dolce Creme Carmel etc. It's Prince of Orange, a very strange Heuch that I probably wouldn't buy again. Harvest Lemon Chiffon is a beautiful plant that was developed here in South Central Pa. I really don't know much about Quilter's Joy, except that it was lovely.

Encore and Pinot Gris are two of my favorites. Encore took a while to show all of it's charms.

Cheryl, Depending on the time of year, Encore and Beaujolais can look very similar, but my Beaujolais have a lot more substance and are larger than my Encores. I know what you mean about that strange green on Encore. Creme de Menthe actually sometimes has a bluish cast to it, more so in the fall.

Thanks everybody! I got Blackberry Currant locally last year. They only carried 2 heuchera and that was one of them. We never get very good plants selections around here and most of mine I order on line.

Pinot Gris does seem to go through a lot of color changes for me during the season. In May it was more shades of peach. I looked at the database and see what you mean about yours being on the green side, but it is a really pretty green. It will look nice with the Limelight hydrangea.

Stormy, I looked in the database and didn't see any of those pictures posted. If you can, would you mind adding them? I'd love to see them! I'm sure the holes in mine are from earwigs. They are terrible here this year! I hate those things. Thumbs down

Chris, I really don't have the time to enter any photos in any databases, here or on DG, where I have a backlog of a couple of hundred to get to. You are welcome to use my photos to do it.

Here's Creme de Menthe. (fall color)

Ooops wrong photo!
