Neal - Agree with Arlyn that I think that first one is San Francisco. Glad to see you over here on ATP. I have pretty much abounded Cubits (it is really too hard to maintain in more than one place; maybe when I retire I could, but not now.) Would love to see more of your collection!

Helen Collingwood is a fantastic iris. Pictures never do it justice. It shimmers in the sun light.

Neal, I love your garden pictures too.. especially the purple birdbath. Made me smile.

'Helen Collingwood' is one of my absolutes on my order list for HIPS..

Here's my 'un-official" Historic favorite for the day! Test plant for one of my mothers old noids bloomed today, the same day as the noid, and it seems to me I have a "match" ! Evolution! I'm holding the "noid', and while the sun is wrong for good pics, here it is:

Blinking Crying , The number boggles the mind, Tom ! Somewhere upwards of 50, with a few more coming this year! Good news is that almost 1/2 of them, are in the "I think I got it, but need to wait till test plant blooms" mode! It keeps me off the streets, and out of trouble, anyhow !...Arlyn

It's possible ,MaryAnn! Remind me...did you send one of those to me? If so, when it blooms, we should be able to say yea, or nay! If you didn't (or even if you did, I guess!), I'll send you a piece of Evolution, for a "test". Actually, on my computer, anyway, the colors don't look "spot-on", but the variations between the colors look the same.. Confused .does that make any sense?! I know what I want to say, but can't seem to get it out there correctly! Blinking ....Arlyn

No -- I didn't send you any of this one Arlyn, because it just bloomed this year for the first time for me -- it was supposed to be a red. Blinking And it already did bloom -- that's when I took the picture above, a couple of weeks ago.

Yes -- I understand what you're saying about the colors -- but my picture makes the colors on that Iris look a little richer than I remember them being. If you have an extra piece of Evolution, I'll take it -- I'll send it back after the test!! Green Grin!

What a great feeling to finally confirm an ID! I guess I really need to get a piece of Quaker Lady to confirm that what I have is the same. I was going by the PBF but others that look similar could have it too.
