I got one on a flower, but it really doesn't do justice to the dragonfly.
Here though, are some that are all about this cooperative little dragonfly that was visiting this morning

Sunflowers were popular while I sat outside most of the day to roast peppers, tomatoes, and onions for chile rellenos. They aren't on the flowers, but close enough, right?

I couldn't keep track of all the wasps in my yard yesterday. I didn't get stung once, but I suspect there must be a nest nearby. I searched my yard and didn't find one.

oh yeah--those are great shots of those predators!
We have a ton of wasps--nests in the porch and every abandoned and not-so-abandoned piece of junk lying around. Hopeless battle really. I like the part where they keep the aphids and some other bug numbers down. I wish they would attack grasshoppers. And I wish that they wouldn't get me or the bees, but they do not do as I wish, sadly.

Replace your lawn with a garden!

I had all kinds of company this weekend....kind of just stood near the flower bed with my camera and got what I could....

This bee was catching some ZZZs when I first went out.

My Red Admiral friend came around again.
