I'm not at all amazing but thanks for the compliment Ann! I've been a very determined individual over the last few years who wished to know what I had around me. It was at first a very difficult road to take, but it's like riding a bike, once you know how it becomes second nature.
dirtdorphins, I don't mind rocking to the sound of insects.

She's a super sleuth Glen. Bugs, plants, she can ID them all before you can shake a sheep's tail.

This morning, after spending too much time hunting squash bugs, I had my spirits lifted by watching this bee on the parsley. I don't grow much parsley, so I haven't paid much attention to it. But I noticed several bugs were checking out the parsley. I love bees, so I ignored the others. I don't remember what type of bee this is, but I was happy that he was happy. I've had this parsley for a couple years. I know it is a biennial and decided this was the year to have more parsley. So, I moved some of it from the big pot on the porch to a spot near my tomatoes. It promptly went to seed but didn't look like it would make it. So, I avoided harvesting any of the parsley until the seeds grew to decent sized plants. But the parsley is so pretty that I still haven't harvested any. The parsley on the porch grows much more slowly in comparison, because it doesn't get as much sun. If only my borage would hurry up and flower so I can have bees attracted to my garden from one end to the other.
