I bought a plant yesterday called a Florida native tulip. I'm sure it is not a tulip but I like it anyway. I planted it on top of my new rain barrel and I'll get a pic when I can.

So wha, I killed my last bloodgood ($100) and figured it was too exposed here for them. But now they can grow up with the shelter of the new hemlocks and I can see how they do for $15 a piece. Then if that works and the hemlocks are taller, I can get creative. Here's the ancient and protected dwarf JM.
Today's images.
Here's the ancient and protected dwarf JM. My new Azalea White Lights. Interrupted ferns. Primrose plus garden.
It is such a delight to see all of these lovely gardens. It's like being on a garden tour in some other part of the country every time I turn on the computer. Thanks, all, for sharing.

After some googling, it's listed as a variety of T. hageri 'Little Beauty'. Heres some interesting infor on it http://www.paghat.com/tuliplit...
