Anticipating the first blooms of my 2013 winter sown Leopard's Bane (Doronicum orientale 'Magnificum')...it has buds!
I was so worried that something would happen to it
...I only had one plant germinate and grow successfully.
Clematis are popping up everywhere, and they look very strong this year.
The roses that are still showing some green are getting their very first leaves.
Several ornamental grasses that I thought were annuals have overwintered; now I really wish I'd kept track of their names.
They might actually be in my list, but I'm too tired to try to figure out where to start looking tonight.
I'll plant those near the screen room, where hopefully, we'll be able to catch their scent.
