I bought a condo near the lake at Cherokee Village, ar. Tiny, but I paid 40,000. I want to tell ya that I feel very lucky to have found someplace because that was the last of my retirement savings. Now I will live on SS since I had to start drawing at 62, it is not near enough to pay taxes or a house note, not even a car note. I will sell my Home in Cornith when I can afford to do basic repairs outherwise it will not sell enough to cover the note on it. At least it has stayed rented!

That's a very pretty part of Arkansas though you will get more cold and certainly more snow than in Memphis. You are near the border with MO. I have been though there but just remember there was a lot of forest areas. Is it hilly there like it is west and south?

I hope I'll get to see Bert at the spring shows up in MO. If you are keeping yours dry, Bert, they should be okay as I think yours are pretty mature plants. Ken has a lot of seedlings and they are much more tender when it comes to temperature swings.

My days in the army at Ft Leonard Wood, I drove through these mountains often, just love it here. Just old logging roads and damned up lakes and cheap prices!
