Holly, that is a copy of Carol's plant. I thought it was seed pods, but Tiffany said they are flower buds.

Thank You! KD. I trimmed them today because they were hanging all over the pots. I will let the Cuttings callous and replant them. These truly thrive on my neglect.

Lynn the colors of my succukents looks like these when they get partial sun and when the weather are in the 60's and 70's. So it might be too early for you but springtime I think the colts will change to this.

i have a big hunk of stapelia a few feet long.. I'll cut it up unto a few pieces and give them away for $10 shipping included... mine doesn't have a bad smell... but it does attract flies...they lay eggs in the flowers...pollinating it as they do.. thinking the eggs are in a hunk of rotting meat that will nourish the young maggots as they hatch.. only to have the flower wilt and dry up.. killing the fly eggs.. but having pollinated the flower

I will watch to see what they do this year Gigi.

Now that is a bit of interesting information Gordon. One way to decrease the fly population around the house. Smiling

I don't think Stapelia smell bad either but some people seem to think so. Beautiful plants, Gigi.

That one does not have a smell but I have a red one that smells horrible. It smells so good to the flies that when I got up close, holding my breath, they did not move. Hilarious!

Thank you Lynn.

Debbie you got it. Someone sent it to me years ago and I only wanted to see if I could grow them. It will be in your box this Spring.
