Uh, I'm not quite sure Darius has joined us. Darius, have you joined us? Confused

PP,
I'd like to volunteer my craptastic soil as the "nearest patch of craptastic dirt that needs fixing". I have a landscape plan in hand, so I know where things should go. I have to locate the manpower for my DIY project.

Also, I'd like to recommend inviting Al Fassezke ("Tapla" on DG) as a moderator on the soon-to-be-created "Soil and Composting" forum, when it's created. Al's thread over on Garden world website has reached the maximum limit for posts, a record-setting TWO times, and is now in its third go-round.

Gymgirl, Darius has been such a major contributor of content valuable to "wellness/wellbeing" from near the beginning of the Daves Garden family, that I think she will always be with us no matter what form, shape or name we may go by.

I wish the articles DG members wrote could travel with them to other "incarnations" of DG, so that the titles of their articles would automatically appear in their profiles whether on cubits or ATP. And I'd also love to see any blogs or websites listed on member profiles too - that would be great contact information as lives and circumstances change.

The day is already getting old - have a date with Ye Shovel while temps are cool - everything looks wonderful, Dave.

I agree

He turned me on to pine bark for improving drainage, and explained my soggy inserts and plug trays as being something in addition to "you can't stop over watering them all the time, dummy!" ("perched water").

He also got me started on my "wick" and "capillary mat" fetish. Now they look at me funny in that fabric store.

Dave,

Here is a request with no likely practical solution.

One 'solution' would be to enable the microbadge that says someone is a forum moderator to pop up a rollover tip that says WHICH forum (or at least one of them).

The problem is that I'm usually in the middle of a post or TreeMail when I want to look them up. If I "leave where I am" to look them up, I lose where I was.

Never mind! Instead I have a TIP!

If you want to look someone up WHILE you are rpelying,
hold down the "CTRL" key before clicking on their name.
Now their profile opens in its own window!

But building some other fancy behavior into the microbadges would surely be delightful.

The workaround I've found is to open a second instance of ATP with my browser, navigate to the same spot, click on their name, and look up their profile.

Or save my post in some editor, jump to their profile, and try to BACK BACK BACK if the browser lets me.

Shift-click opens in a new window which also works well.

Clicking on their username takes you to their profile page which displays everything you can want to know about them. All that data and info is just a Shift-Click away. Thumbs up A perfect solution, in my mind.

And with Firefox, if you right click someone's name, you also can open their profile page in either a new tab or new window.
(I just like browsing tabs better than multiple windows).
