Good Morning everyone! its 12:48am and I can't sleep ,After way to much dental work and the drugs that go with it I spent most of the day in lala land. DH said the Doctor said all went well(I remember nothing) no more poking and proding until the 8th. so far no major pain but
the stiches sure do itch. Thanks everyone for the well wishes they worked..

beautiful pots and puppies...

Poor lil cacuts is gonna die after it blooms but we still have 2 more the same size plus babies.. I sure hate that it dies.

Good morning! What good looking beds Karen. Oh Brinda I missed out on the house pictures. Do send another when or rather if you get the chance. Know that if it was possible, I would be halo flighting a double margarita to you to prepare you for the MIL's visit.

LaLa land is better than pain Phaedra. Dental work--UUGGGHHHH . . . .I do not envy you that.

I am just starting to get the front beds which is where the coleus go since they are my shade beds whipped back into shape. Everything took such a hit this past winter and I started on the beds in the back yard first so that I would have something to look at when I sit on the patio.

Ooohhhh gotta run, DH is making his way to the van; he's got outpatient therapy today.

Hope everyone has a great day; hope you get to feeling better Phaedra!

I forgot to attach the picture in one of my posts. This is the purple sport that came from the trailing rose to the left of it.

Pheadra, so glad you got through the worst part. Had you in my prayers and will keep you there. Did they do the jawbone at the same time?
Here is a link to Brinda's house http://homesite.obeo.com/viewe....
Brinda, how's it going? If she's not impressed, nothing is going to impress her.
Tobee has moved from NJ to a new house in Groveland, Fl. She has been conversing with Jeremy and possibly coming to see him.
He lives in walking distance so he always brings them by here.
I would love to meet her anyhow.
That's a real good incentive for me to really shape up around here.
Tobee coming to my garden is akin to Willie Nelson coming to dinner.
Both of these are real incentive for me to get going.
First might happen, second not. Rolling on the floor laughing
Shirley the best thing about Kelly is that he came home just fine.
Looking at those camels, or dromedaries I hope he was not following any of them to closely, more walking to the side. Whistling
Coleup, welcome to this forum. We will gladly answer any questions. There are several experienced Coleus Addicts here.
What zone do you live in?
Thanks again Joy, Shirley, Juanita, and Patty on your congratulations getting my name back.

What about mac & cheese?

Wow Brinda that house is magnificent; can I come live in the garage???? I think your garage must be bigger than my entire house. So pretty. And the yard--very awesome. We may not see you for some time if you get started on flower beds next. That's a lot of space. The front yard bed is good looking too.

I thought the cold would numb your mouth Smiling

I'd be taking pills as often as prescribed, staying zonked, sleeping or zoning out.

Hey Sugarweed and all. Thanks for welcoming me to this forum. Wish I had found you all a long time ago but glad we have this space on going.

I've been a coleus addict for years now. So far this season (I'm in zone 7b) I've collected over 40 varieties! Mind you, I missed all the cutting swaps, RD and Gebhards and NC Farms orders so I'm doing pretty well with just local stuff.

My "problem" is that I want more, so it's good to be among friends.

Good morning everyone. Lots of rain here so I have a free morning. I do not have to water today. yeah. Kelly in still in Morocco for another three weeks. We did not ask him to get us anything there. I never even thought about it and Sandy said she thought about it but did not want to bother him. We think he is very busy. We have been keeping up with him via face book. You know me I just want him home safely. Then I can relax until one of them is off on another adventure. Me ... I am comfortable on my corner. I go on trips when Sandy makes me screaming "she made me do it" all the way. It has become a joke for all of us. Pictures of every trip with me screaming. Oh well. I will get over it soon, and keep the road hot again like I used too. I am trying to get everything planted so I can relax and watch it grow. I am taking before pics. ya'll have a good day and welcome to our newbee shirleyt

Talked to Ms Brinda yesterday. She and her DH had not let MIL know they had a new house.
Alan told Mary they needed to stop by a friend's house on the way 'home'.
Brinda opened the door with a glass of champagne and said "Welcome to out new house Mary"
I wish I could have been a fly on the wall for that one!
She got them a new dinning room suite for a house warming gift.
Hope I didn't steal Brinda's thunder. Whistling

Hello every one. It is 93 here with a heat index of 103. Yellow flies and skeeters are biting and it is miserable. Grass is growing faster than we can keep it cut. Our neighbor is ill and we have added his grass to ours when we cut. Plants look great but boy do they take a lot of my time to keep them in water. Oil is ruining all our favorite places to play, and all I feel like doing is whine whine whine. lol. I really must get a grip....... Thank you Lord for giving us this day.........we loved every minute of it. I love to whine. I love to water plants. I love to feed the yellow flies and skeeters. I love to get all sweaty. I love it love it love it. shirleyt

Ditto, ditto, ditto shirley . . . hot here too, watering all the time; whining all the time too. I am waiting for sun up so I can go out and spray the yard and gardens before church. It's been windy here also which is why I keep holding off on spraying.

Woke up yesterday morning to some pretty hibbie blooms. It's the small gardening pleasures that brighten the day! Here is a picture of one of the large Luna hardy hibiscus blooms. This hibbie is having a great blooming season right now with blooms almost every day. Wish my hybrids bloomed this much.

Go out and smell the roses ladies!!!! (unfortunately I don't have any roses growing in my gardens . . .hahahahaha)

Hot and muggy here too. We keep having bad storms and tree issues. We've had 3 large trees fall across our driveway in the last week. Last one was yesterday morning. It was a huge red oak and it was all that four of us could do to cut it up and move it. What a mess! Nothing like oil though. You have no idea how angry I am that such a disaster was allowed to happen. Don't get me started on that one!

WOW, keeping a new house a secret from a MIL is a trick! Leave it up to Brin.

Love you all,
Juanita
