Finally Sidney, your famous laugh. I have surely missed seeing you do that! What part of north Florida are you in. (cmail me if you'd rather). I could make it a trip to see my sister too. She lives in Freeport (about 20 minutes south of the interstate at Defuniak exit. I guess we could just bring the gumbo shirley, you want a ride?

Debbie I'm in Jacksonville. We might get Sandy to bring Shirley to us and then she can kayak the Swanee while Shirley and I coleus and paint, and party with y'all.

It really sounds like you are planning a party. Sandy has paddled part of the Swanee a couple years ago. She loves kayaking and when I read your letter she said lets goooo.She is doing a fund raising camp for the team this week. We will be getting the car ready for our planned trip to an Arkansas cabin with a mountain view for two weeks. When we get back she will then be headed for Tampa with the Varsity team for training for eight or ten days and then to UNO with the JV when she gets back. She will have practices twice a week when they get back and school starts Aug 9 and it starts all over again. Soooo it sounds like a great idea but how to work it in this year???? And guess what we had for dinner last night broiled drum, mac and cheese sliced right from the garden tomato and boiled corn. yummy. shirleyt

OH I wish I could be there. I love Atlock Farm. Thank you Allison for the heads up and the link. I am finally starting to get some growth on my coleus cuttings. I thought for a while I had lost them all, or at least most of them. I planted my bed and will post photos a little later on.

we were too busy and tired to go today... puppies are exhausting... and trying to get some stuff done in the yard... Randy started to install my new micro sprinklers into a bed we didn't get to last year.. had to come in .. it was so brutal in the sun and we didn't get to finish... but we will get there sooner or later
