Amy, I can imagine fairies wanting to dance in that bed of color. The eye of your seedling has me counting the hours to see bloom open.

Emerald Enchantment, wow! I love the color and that vivid green throat. Cindy and Dormantsrule, I too really like this seedling and am going crazy waiting for it to have a fully open flower! The seedlings I have are not my own creations. All of my seedlings are from hybridizers, that one, is a Bob Faulkner seedling Drooling I have a handful of new ones opening this year. I am waiting for them to open with a nice looking bloom so I can get some pictures. I am a very impatient person. Whistling

So much eye candy here! I love looking through the threads and adding to my long want list. Here are some blooms from July but things are not blooming as good right now, might be the heat.

Wonderful to sit in the evening and see everyone's blooms. Still sputtering a few new ones each day. The display garden is on the north side of the house and runs a week behind the hybridizing beds on the south side, strange, but that is how it has always been. Nice to see a few garden shots mixing in, too.

Blues Avenue, an evg with a really neat pattern eye that was not very happy here it's first two years, but when threatened with bloom or compost...it has settled in and bloomed well the past two years Thumbs up

Increased Complexity, nice color but blooms down in the foliage for me. Might be getting to much shade.

and the last ffo today Mystic Pizza, wonderful bright color and always has beautiful form.

Susan, nice to see some of your Summer blooms. Keep posting. Hurray!

Char..isn't it funny when you threaten a plant with bloom or compost, most of them choose to bloom rather than extinction. Happens a lot. Hilarious!

What a cutie Al Fresco is!! Some repeats here as I am reall seeing differences over days with color/ or opening as they improve on some this year.

FLASHER... The first shot is on the 13th a warm day and the second on taken today......only a high of 70 degrees here today. Was 59 when I got up this morning.

Today's ffo is blooming down in foliage on a 14" stunted scape and I noticed that it had heaved. Special thanks to monster winter '13. I wasn't home this winter and really didn't get into the garden much until
mid May. So, when I saw the roots of WYG peaking out of the ground, I started checking other plants and found 14 which heaved.

'Man of Sorrows' is one of my favorite day lilies; love the color. I've had it for 5 years... after the first 2 years I liked it so much I decided to move it to a more prominent location. Guess it didn't appreciate the move and I almost lost it! Didn't bloom at all the next 2 years, but this year it is blooming again and I like it just as much! I have a feeling it will really take off next year, and I promised it I will not move it again!

Linda - Man of Sorrows is a favorite here and I also bought another red of Karol's, Not Guilty, but it hasn't bloomed. Interesting how some balk when moved and others bloom away like nothing happened. I've moved Aabache 4 times, even in mid bloom, and it just carried on.

Gorgeous pix daylily addicts..... We in the Northern climes have been pummeled with rain in the past week, along with heavy wind gusts, which has really done a number on some of our ff.o's and blooms. Expecting nice weather into the weekend. Thank goodness, because we deserve some warm, sunny days.

I have a few fav's from the blooms above.

Amy, I love your Faulkner sdlg. Keep posting pictures of it as the season progresses. 'Al Fresco' is such a tease. Rub her tummy for me. Hurray! Hurray! Hilarious!

Claudia....I have always loved 'Fancy Face', and your group of blooms is outstanding. Thumbs up

Dormantsrule.... The ffoe of 'Tahiti Sweetie' is new to me. Just love those south seas colors, and interesting eye pattern. A really lovely bloom. Thumbs up
