Well, I just planted it late last Fall. It is kinda short but the bloom is very large and so colorful. I cannot wait to see it next year. Hard to say right now but it is a keeper for me. It has been in the popularity polls so others must also like it.

So nice to see the northern blooms getting into full swing! The toothy ones are growing on me, Wild Hair has put up scapes and I'm looking forward to seeing it blooming. Worthy of Distinction, Ten Cent Wings, Capacity for Wonder, Mount Ararat, color changes in Mean Joe Green...hard to pick favorites. Susan, I've done that when moving plants and it's always a fun surprise when those lost fans bloom.

A few more ffo's today, still a long ways to go...

Vatican City, pretty saturated red purple.

Kindly Light, bright clear yellow dormant spider.

Mom's Pet, a favorite growing in my "Dog Bed" with other doggie theme daylilies.

Odds and Ends, great early lavender, big bloom and makes a super clump.

Two pleated Sculpted forms...

and The Wonder Emporium

Little Bo Peep Diploma, a small bloom with wonderful branching and budcount.

So many nice ones!

Susan, I really like Dragon's Eye and have a clump of it myself. Love the eye on that one!

Little Bo Peep Diploma really does have a lovely plant and scapes. I drool over it every time I see it at Curt's. I really like the little ones like that. I have Burning Hot Spot, but some day I am going to find a spot for a piece of Little Bo Peep Diploma too….

Everyone has such lovely blooms this year!

Bloom is finally getting going here too!! Hurray!

One that bloomed here today that I really liked was Puerto Del Sol. I had it last year, but it only had a couple blooms on it. This year the plant is much bigger and the blooms are really pretty. Big bloom, really green in the throat and the richest golden yellow. I love how it has lighter edges on the petals. It had one bloom open a couple days ago, and by evening the edges in the throat were pale yellow.

I love all shades of yellow…. Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

Another that has been really pretty this year is Dottie Warrell's Classy Lady. Big bloom, and a nice clear pink.

A storm last night and another on the way. But this morning's blooms makes my eyes smile even though they are mostly short prebloom or stunted scapes.

Great look blooms today. I love yellows too.

Here's Iroquois Chief. I like it because it makes a nice tall one for the background. It's also nocturnal. 41"

Thanks very much, Alex, and everyone's thumbs up and acorn tip. I think the NOID might be Orchid Corsage.

Caitlin just add a few every year before you know it your garden will be full plus it makes planting and planning and care easier. After awhile your taste in daylilies will change or expand to include more such as minis, bagels , doubles, and last but not least UF's. Whistling

I can see the Lavender Blue Baby parentage in Edge of Madness.

I noticed that there is no parentage stated for Lavender Blue Baby. I would really be interested to know that! I really love it.

I love the garden shot too, that is beautiful! Iroquois Chief is a standout Thumbs up
