Did I tell you about my little bunny that was born under my arborvita? I named him Bun Bun and he is really growing. Loves to eat the clover and bird seed. His Mommy must have decided he is big enough to be on his own because she is no longer around. I hope the Hawk didn't get her.

You can barely see him and I am sorry about that, but in order not to scare him away I had to snap that this way. I had not really planned to share him when I took it. But he has become my resident rabbit and I am so in love with him.

what a cutie!

too many resident rabbits here to name them... they mostly stick to clover, so grandpa's trap stays in the basement

Sweet Mama Primrose -- gentle, lovey, wants to be shadow-close. Would be a great companion for a senior, IMO

Looking right at the camera is the best, but with these guys it was hard enough to get them to look alertly upwards! They all had big brown eyes... photographing black dogs is not an easy trick. Glad Susan had a floor lamp to bring into the pen!

Thanks! I was thinking maybe photography could be our excuse for visiting other foster litters... good photos certainly do help with placement.

I sent Susan a bunch of additional photos of each puppy. She's been busy making a page for each puppy on the rescue website. Susan -- we need the link, please!

Pinky Pie, like her namesake, is a party girl! She was moving and wriggling so much, I only got 2 shots with her face, and none were well focused. She just wanted to play!

Thumb of 2018-10-24/critterologist/23214e

Posy, on the other hand, was in the middle of a nap when it was her turn (we let her go last), and she just wanted to droop down onto the blanket and get back to sleep.

When we visited Addy when she was a baby, the pups would tumble all around us, then one would fall asleep, next thing you'd know they would all be asleep.Like sleep is contagious. Smiling

Jill, thanks again to you and Joyanna for visiting and for doing the photography session. The pups are getting cuter and more playful by the day, but boy do they keep me busy!

Wolf Trap Animal Rescue hasn't uploaded the profiles and photos for Primrose and her litter yet, probably because they're not available for adoption until November 17th. You can check out other dogs and cats available for adoption on https://wolftrapanimalrescue.c... After the "Petstablished" box opens, you should see a scroll bar at the top left of it that will let you see 24 dogs per page. I'll post the again when my foster family is on it.

Is it just me? I couldn't figure out any way to see more than 3 cats or dogs at any time. And if I clicked on an animal, I couldn't scroll down for the details. I guess most adoptions are in person so this doesn't matter.

My (old one-eyed) Chip was bonkers last night with one of Miss Robin's catnip toys Rolling on the floor laughing Thumbs up

Sally, I'm not sure, but it may be because the link I added last night was linked to Facebook.Try this one (and I'll replace the one above as well): https://wolftrapanimalrescue.c...
Once you're in the "Petstablished" dog listing, you should see a scroll bar at the top left of the box that will allow you to see 24 dogs per page and there are several pages.

Thanks for the corrected link Muddy. Do you as foster mom take the pups to the Adoption Event? And/or, do adopters come to you?
Cute pups!

The site doesn't seem to play well with my Chromebook, or, after being very computer-handicapped in the library for several weeks, I have lost al ability to adapt and navigate a new site.
I love that one dog name- Atomic Fireball!
Plant it and they will come.

Judy, the ideal scenario is for potential adopters to visit the puppies in the fosters' homes prior to the event. With the exception of Mama Jersey/Penny, whom no one came to see prior to the adoption event, all of my foster pups have found homes with adopters who came to my house.
I went with Penny to the adoption event so I could talk to people about her, and 2 families wanted her!

Sally, a van-load of puppies were named after candies because their adoption events were near Halloween.
