THERE IS ALWAYS MUSIC AMONGST THE TREES IN THE GARDEN,
BUT OUR HEARTS MUST BE VERY QUIET TO HEAR IT.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!, that you have not had any more of that white cold fluffy stuff, Cherie.
It has been cold and misty here all day, but did manage to get into town to get more finishing stuff for the cards, so they are now finished, so will show them when I get round to putting them on Cubits.

My dearest Cherie, National Growmore is the worlds best fertilizer for plants. It has an NPK value of 7-7-7 which is absolutely perfect for plants. Miracle Gro and things like that have too much nitrogen which will make everything grow very fast, but is not that good for shrubs that need a CRF or controlled release fertilizer. So what it does is to release what the plant needs at the right time of year!
For instance in the spring the plant needs nitrogen and then to flower it need phosphorus but in the Autumn\fall it needs potash or potassium (K), so that is why if you look on any of the feed your plant products it should have a NPK value on it! N is for nitrogen P is for phosphorus and K is for Potassium or potash! Tomato food has a mass level of K as that makes your tomato's harden up and get ripe before the winter! Sorry for being too scientific but I tried to explain it easily for you!
So if a plant food has a value of 28-5-5 that means it hass a mass amount of nitrogen in it, and Ed would be cursing you if you water that on his lawns as they would need cutting 3 times a week!
So it is good to get the balance right, and National Growmore is right for everything, cheap and readily available and is industry standard. The professional growers use it .
Love.
Neil.
