I just ordered: Francois Juranville, Wartburg, Thousand Beauties (I'm too lazy to look up the correct spelling!) and Rosarium Uetersen - love this rose! I think Palatine roses is the best nursery for grafted roses. I can understand the reasoning behind ordering own root or band roses, but I don't have the patience to wait for them to grow big and strong. I'm in Zone 5 and we have short growing seasons.
Mine have started to bloom. Unfortunately, one has been mislabeled. This is supposed to be Red Riding Hood, but I'm pretty sure it's Sweet Jane, which I also ordered. The one labeled Sweet Jane hasn't started blooming yet. I hope it turns out to be Red Riding Hood.

Mine's somewhere between Buffalo & CO... ETA is Friday.. I had forgotten that I had ordered a couple more when I talked to Rachel a few months ago when she told me that they were out of one of the rose, so now I have to dig some extra holes!!
now I'm trying to figure out why I ordered Charmant? That's not a rose I would purchase... don't care for pink roses, don't care for non-scented roses? Weird..
Zuzu, I wonder if my Sweet Jane and Red Riding Hood are also switched? I will need to move them if they are. RRH has buds on it, so I'll know soon.
All of the Palatine and Edmunds roses have leafed out now. Most years there's one or two that never break dormancy.
