A pack of coyotes stands outside the fence almost every night, trying to lure the dogs. I decided that the noise no longer bothered me. That lasted about 42 seconds. It is a scary noise!

One night my daughter had some coyotes howling right outside her bedroom window and she said it is one of the scariest noises you can hear. She said she thought she would have a heart attack.

It is a freaky noise, for sure. They used to get a lot closer to the house, before we fenced the dogs in, and them out.

Woke up to a lot less snow than I was prepared for. Maybe got a couple of inches. It warmed up in the middle of the night, so some of it came as rain. Now the temps are supposed to drop drastically by Tuesday, so the road will be a skating rink for the truck. We have to go into town on Wednesday morning, so we'll make sure and leave plenty early.

Watch the ice rink Natty. At least you didn't get 20 inches, hooray for that.

I'd prefer 20 inches of snow, to a thin layer of ice! If Bailey didn't have to go to the vet on Wednesday, we'd skip going to town. She needs her 3rd of 4 shots though, so we have to go. Her leg/knee/whatever is getting better, so we feel that it is important enough.

Putting up that fence so that the dogs could roam but not get loose (and still be safe) was a very good thing. Those Coyotes sound like they want to lure the dogs out and then surround them to do them in. Scary, really scary.

We got a few inches of snow over night and it's been very lightly snowing on and off all day, it's 24f degrees.

So far, we get no snow photos from either Margaret or Natalie. What does a body have to do around here to get some snow pictures already? Sheesh!

I would love to provide some snow pictures, but the fog is so thick that I can't see anything! It is still snowing, but I had to go stand outside to find out!

Yes, that is my front yard. Luckily there is a window next to the front door, so I didn't have to go outside to take the video.
