Yesterday was a nasty rainy day but today looks much better with some sunshine.

Supposed to be rainy here tomorrow and then get cold for the weekend.

We have 81 here tomorrow & then a cold front moves in so Friday will be 69/42.

It's not actually that cold out here, but I'll wish for colder weather, if this actually works!

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I saw a teenager here with his pants not where they should be. Most of the kids here are cowboys or cowgirls, and they seem to be a little more respectful, and more fully dressed, than what I'm used to.

Woke up to very dark clouds this morning. It sprinkled for about 10 minutes, and then all the clouds left and it warmed up. Now it looks just like it did when I got up. Mother Nature can't make up her mind today! I'm just thankful that it isn't raining. Mark is busy cleaning up leaves, which I'm putting in the flower beds. Sure is more enjoyable doing that when it isn't raining. I've even got enough leaves left over to cover part of the veggie garden, which is great!

I bet the leaves smell nice !

It would be nice if the designers would make woman's jeans with the waist at the waist. I hate these jeans now that come just above the belly button. Feel like they are going to fall off every time I bend over !! I have gone back to my old jeans that fit where they should !

Being short waisted Linda, I am glad of these jeans you hate. Otherwise they're up near my armpits.

A series of thunderstorms last night. I have yet to go into the garden to see if there is any hail damage. But wonderfully the cars passing are not throwing up dust.

Ann. Actually I am high waisted, just find those pants extremely uncomfortable. Glad they work for you. Pants up to the armpit would not be too attractive !!

A bandicoot, Glen? Are they good garden neighbors?

Debra, I felt certain they were in the garden. But it was quite a surprise when this one appeared. A friend of mine who lived on the island said the bandicoots got her sweet potatoes always the day before she was to harvest them. Alas, I have planted mine in the garden this year and not in the raised bed...... But, at the moment, I am quite enamoured of the bandicoots.

It is 71 degrees at 7.30 am and 70% humidity. I am sweating already.

We have a snow storm in our forecast starting tonite.

We have beautiful fall weather here with highs in the low to mid 70's and lows in the upper 40's for the next 7 or 8 days.

Ann...been a bit cooler here. Hated to turn the heat on and drag out the quilt. The girls do keep me warm at night though...two warm furry bodies take care of me from head to toe

I did give in and turn on the heater. Keep it at 64 right now. Plenty warm enough with multiple covers and a furry back warmer in bed with me all night.
