Dear Lucy, I am told to do mothers garden! This year as she likes Geraniums so much, I had to grow this new variety that has black bands in the leaves. So I planted a whole Geranium bed out for her, which does look nice although it only has a few in flower at the moment due to the weather. Then she wanted Petunias and a variety called Ocean Drift. I grew a lot of these and they are very good, all different blues and some with white stripes so it looks like an ocean, in theory! I have done her hanging baskets, and her outsides pots, with purple Petunias, a variegated Busy Lizzie in one and Lobelia around the edges.
Then mother wanted a
Calistemon citrinus 'Splendens' or the Australian Bottle Brush, so she got one of them and I put that in for her. Did the weeds and it looks smashing!
I will get some pictures of it when it stops raining, about Christmas at this rate.
Regards.
Neil.
