Oh, I was just teasing. He was with me when I spotted them. One was a Roselle....red hibiscus and the other was a Tibouchina.....Princess Flower. I have a giant Tibouchina, but not the regular one. I also have a red hibiscus, but this one was a little different leaf...and I wanted to use it for cuttings. I keep reminding him that I used to spend a lot of time at the mall....and a few plants are nothing compared to a few shoes!
This morning, I'm making cement leaves before it gets too hot. I'm going to demonstrate making them on the 26th and I want to make sure I remember how to! It's sooo hot, I thought I'd start early....
Weather guy said we haven't seen these high temps since 1998, which were followed by floods in October of the same year.
