She explained that she had never spent more than a dollar on any house plant. I asked here which area stores had such. Her response: There are so many how can I remember them all. Gene
Paying a $1 or two? Cost of shipping and stocking the plants brings the cost up. I marvel at the low cost at walmarts at only $4. Can't figure how they do it.
Wow, Gene, there are some wonderful Philodendron specimens you got there! Congrats!
I haven't got many, but here they are. I will try to get more the following months, I want a Selloum, a heart-leaf. My ultimate dreams are the Orange prince and the Congo rojo.
In some Native languages the term for plants translates to "those who take care of us."

We lucked out again. Nor-easter that hit right pass us and hit north and east of us. Much snow and freezing temps. We got just a little snow (.5 inch) and temps in the 20's. March madness. February was much nicer.

A question for you, in a recent post of yours about the very variegated Philo. var. Imbe leaf, what is the name of that philo. The leaf looks like the same as the leaf of my Jose buono, are they the same philo with diff names?
