I finally got it potted up. I'll try to take a picture of it tomorrow. It's a really lovely plant.

I took this Philo 'Black Cardinal' outside to be repotted & showered. Then I did something I haven't done for well over 20 yrs, I took her back inside even though it's plenty warm outside by now, & think she may stay in. Every time I leave her outside, there's some sunburn, damage from falling tree debris, sooty mildew from having to be under the trees to get as little sunburn as possible, wind...

Here's the arrowhead plant I got on the sale rack at Lowe's for $3. Screaming deal. Absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Philodendron Giganteum. 1st pix - just a new leaf unfolding. 2nd - one leaf in my only south window. 3rd - just an assortment. Gene

OK, not a Philo. - Variegated Split Leaf Monstera. I am always amazed at how different each leaf can be. Even the stems are variegated. Beautiful, IMO. Gene

@Deebie, I edited my last post to include the name. Sorry I forgot at first.

5-gal buckets of vines are back outside. Heart-leaf on the left, horse head (P. bipennifolium) on the R, with swiss cheese (Monstera obliqua) and a little Pothos getting started in the party. The heart-leaf pot might get a new support limb this summer. The old one must be decomposing... The other pot has a tomato cage and the boards that each of the vines were *stapled to* when purchased. Not a fan of that but both times it was a get-it-or-not situation. I've seen each for sale once & didn't hesitate, right? Uh, I can't be the only one who gets flashes of Sean Connery from The Rock movie when spotting a plant you want but don't have "You must never hesitate..." :+)

Gene, that variegated monstera is awesome. Lovey dubby If my variegated philo decides to unfurl some leaves, I'll post a pic. It's been in suspense animation (not enough light) for a couple of months. Rolling my eyes. It's outdoors in a sunnier location now.

I didn't see any Philodendrons for sale listed. Perhaps I overlooked. Will check again. Would much rather buy from a member here.

Almost ashamed to show this plant as I have let it get way too large and now I need your advice. This Philodendron 'Gloriosum' has so outgrown this pot. When I bought it the plant was very small and I put it in this container to give it room to run a bit. I had no idea how much running this plant could do. I really didn't expect this in an office environment under fluorescent lighting. The stalk is near 40 inches long and of course the plant is completely root bound. I don't think I can move it without breaking the runner. I am trying to find out if there is someway to start a new plant from this one. I found a lot of information of some Philodendron propagation but not the Gloriosum. Goes to show that one needs to completely do their research on these plants. It's a beauty but I have to do something with it before it overtakes the entire office.

How cool! Should be able to take root at any/every node, like any other Philo.
